Rules and General Info
A This show is open to models Classic-scale and smaller.  No Traditional-scale models (including foals!) please.
B. Three entries per class in the Fun Division, except for Fantasy Equids. All other divisions unlimited.
C. Only one image per horse per class. That is, I don't want a headstudy, a left and right photo of each horse. That is in keeping with traditional photo show rules.
D. A good photo show image is one that is shot in profile - either the right or the left side of the horse. Not the front or the back.
E. Open only to paid Blab Members. Membership is $18 per year, and includes access to all forums on the hobby's largest message board. Extremely addictive! You can register for free and get a seven day free paid-access-style trial, to see if you enjoy it. Email me.
F. A horse may enter only one breed class in this show.
G. Partbreds should be entered in "Other" classes, except in Foal classes, where you should situate your horses according to physical type.
H. No kvetching about the results, period.
I. OF Resins should be entered in OF China.
J. Cold-Painted Chinas should be entered in Custom.
K. This is an all-halter show. No performance this time.  Although we do have a Tack Division for Tack ONLY.  The tack is to be for Classic-scale and smaller models only.  No Traditional-scale tack please.
L. All breed assignment questions should be directed to Blab's Pedigree and Breed Assignment forum. You can and should also do your own research here. As to which breeds go where on the classlist, there is a guide below.
M. All other questions about the show can be directed to the show thread (link below).
N. The Gallery software allows viewers to rank horses from Excellent (10) to Poor (1). We'll use that software to place horses from 1st to 5th.
O. We reserve the right to combine, cancel or add classes as entries warrant.
P. You may only exhibit photos of horses that you personally own. You may use other people's photos if you have permission to use them.
Q. The classes "Western Tack," "English Tack," "Costume" and "Other Tack" are for judging of Classic-scale and smaller tack only. Instead of indicating breed and gender in the TITLE field, indicate what type of tack it is, and tackmaker in the DESCRIPTION field.
R. Judges may not enter any class or championship the judge is judging. Judges may enter any other classes or championships. Moderators may also enter (Mary will not, as the show host).
S. Artist Resins with limbs moved should really be in Customs.

Entry Information
Entry Deadlines:
Entries Open: Mid-April
Entries Close: Friday, May 14th at 8 p.m., US Eastern (EST)
Judging Ends: Friday, May 21st at 10p.m., US Eastern (EST)
To enter, navigate to and click the Blab Gallery.
On the initial upload page, upload your pictures to category "Member Galleries." Example here.
On the next page, choose the Optional Category that corresponds with your horse's Photo Show class. Example here.  Remember to hit "Process" at the bottom.
a. In the "TITLE" area, enter your horse's BREED and GENDER.
* do not put anything else in this area.
b. Put your horse's NAME and COLOR in the "DESCRIPTION" field.
* if you want to add age, "type" or other breed info/links to reference material, put it here.
If you make a mistake, navigate to the class where your horse was incorrectly placed and enlarge your horse's photo.
a. Click on "Photo Options" in the upper right near your photo.  There will be a pull-down menu with more options.  Click on "Edit Photo."
b. Use the "Change Category To" drop-down to move your horse to the correct class.
Since the ability to delete photos is temporarily disabled in the gallery due to the Photo Show, if you put a horse in a class and find that you don't want that photo in the show at all, you can use the "Change Category" feature to move the photo into your Member Gallery where you can leave it there or after the show is over, delete it.
a. Click on "Photo Options" in the upper right near your photo.  There will be a pull-down menu with more options.  Click on "Edit Photo."
b. Use the "Change Category To" drop-down to move your horse to Member Gallery (it's all the way at the top of the list).
Keep in mind that I am moving photos around as I go, so if you later see your horse in an unfamiliar class, do not move it until you PM me. That way I'm not moving it several times. :)
   
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the first place Class Winners, Sub-Division Champs and Reserve Champs, and the Division Champs and Reserve Champs.

So, what are the prizes you ask? They are "electronic" rosettes that will be awarded to the winners!  These rosettes can be placed into your signature on Blab and can be linked to the winning model's picture.  They adhere to the signature picture rules on Blab as well.
